BEHIND THE SCENES
Cashew the terrier-mix
provides emotional
support and cuddles.
Francesca adopted
Cashew from the
Oregon Humane
Society in 2021, and
since then they’ve spent
almost all of their time
together.
Cashew loves playing
with her carrot toy, going
for walkies, swimming in
the river, and playing with
her corgi-cousin, Basil.

FRANCESCA’S
NOVELS
Francesca’s dream of
becoming an author began
in third grade, and her
writing career had an early
start; she wrote her first
book, Call of the Sun
Child, when she was only
18.
When not writing or
reading, she spends her
time playing piano, figure
skating, drawing, hiking,
kayaking, doing yoga,
spending time with Cashew,
and exploring Oregon’s wild
places.

poetry, visit Francesca’s
