Francesca’s dream of becoming an author began in third grade, and her writing career had an early start; she wrote her first book, Call of the Sun Child, when she was only 18.When not writing or reading, she spends her time playing piano, figure skating, drawing, gardening, hiking, doing yoga, spending time with Cashew, and exploring Oregon’s wild places. Cashew the terrier-mix provides emotional support and cuddles. Francesca adopted Cashew from the Oregon Humane Society in 2021, and since then they’ve spent almost all of their time together.
